ZEPP 3D MOTION SENSOR TENNIS

Improve your tennis game with the Zepp 3D motion sensor! The small square unit is mounted onto the base of the tennis racquet, sending data wirelessly to your smartphone, which you can analyse to improve your game. The data is captured using a free downloadable iOS or Android app.

The captured data is then transferred to the user’s smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth and analysis begins via the sport-specific smartphone app. Zepp Tennis features the ability to track the amount of forehands, backhands, serves and smashes you hit, how much power you generate with each stroke, how many topspin, slice and flat shots you hit, your trends for an entire match or practice session, the total amount of time you spend on court and the active time you spend playing points and rallying.

The sensing unit is small enough that it can be attached to the racquet without affecting the player’s swing. The Zepp unit itself weighs only 6.3 g! The unit is comprised of a ruggedized rubber exterior and contains a shock-resistant core, and is designed to withstand countless impacts.

The sensor can also be used for golf and baseball by purchasing the relevant mounting unit and downloading the app for that sport.

According to Zepp Labs, each sensor contains enough memory to store up to 200,000 tennis swings (or 2,000 baseball swings or 2,000 golf swings) at 1,000 data points per second, while battery life extends up to eight hours.

As with the other Zepp apps, you can also compare and share your swing data with other players.
