These precious little egglings look and feel just like a real hen’s egg, but they’re hiding a secret! Crack open an eggling and discover a garden ready to grow!

There are seeds sown into the eggling’s fortified peat mixture, so all you need to do is crack your eggling’s top (by tapping on it with a spoon), water the peat, and place in bright spot so it get’s plenty of Mother Nature’s warm glow.

The plants sown into the eggling will grow for up to five months, after which time they can be planted directly into the soil of your backyard, or into a plant pot.

Handmade in Japan and accompanied by a cute terracotta tray, egglings make fabulous gifts for those living in apartments or units with minimal garden space. (They also come smartly gift-boxed, so they’re all ready to be gifted!)
