These precious little egglings look and feels just like a real hen’s egg, but they’re hiding a secret: crack open your eggling and discover everything you need to make a lemon balm plant grow!

Their seeds are sown into the eggling’s fortified peat mixture, so all you need to do is crack your eggling’s top (by tapping on it with a spoon), water the peat, and place in a bright spot so it gets plenty of Mother Nature’s warm glow.

The seeds will grow for up to five months, after which time the seedling can be planted directly into the soil of your backyard, or into a pot.

Lemon balm is a herb that not only attracts bees to your garden, but also acts as an anti-viral. The plant also has calming properties perfect for settling anxious children. Traditionally, lemon balm has been used to treat upset stomachs in everyone from infants to old people. A leaf can be chewed to freshen the breath or crushed and placed on an insect bite to help ease itching.
