This wooden model kit builds a world globe that turns on a mechanical base. It’s a simple globe, with only the continents accounted for but it’s one you get to build yourself.

 

You won’t need any tools or glue, and you won’t need any batteries or power to make it turn either! It’s all made from wood with a little help from rubber bands to create the turning mechanism. 

 

There’s also a little Sputnik and a Shuttle that are interchangeable, and fly around the globe at a faster pace than the actual globe turns.
