In place of a roof, this kit home has an infinity pool with a 360-degree panoramic view.

The modern triangular kit home is 85 square metres (914 square feet). It’s divided into a living space and a rooftop pool. It’s designed to be a summer home where you can engage with nature.

How is an infinity pool roof possible? Essentially, the roof-structure was inverted and a pool built in the empty basin. The roof outlets sit above the three structural cores, allowing downpipes to pass through the interior and into an inspection chamber, while a siphonic drainage system gives the pool an adjustable water level.

The interior is a multifunctional (and adjustable) space. The oval bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom can be hidden within the three structural cores. This provides privacy for each room. Alternatively, they can be opened up to flow into the external living and dining space. As they open, the walls shift to enclose the entire interior space – giving you complete privacy from the outside world. The layout is controlled via a mobile panel on the wall.
